We have taken an aggressive strategy this year of guaranteeing a large number of rooms for our members, taking the risk that ACR may have to pay for unsold rooms. Therefore we ask that you please reserve your hotel room through one of our room blocks. Indeed, even if you normally reserve a room outside of the ACR negotiated prices, it would benefit you (and the organization) to book with us this time. We have scoured the city to get the best and closest hotels at very reasonable prices. San Francisco hotels of this quality normally cost much more than the price negotiated for our members.
1. Hyatt Regency (the conference hotel): An architectural landmark designed by John Portman, the Hyatt is situated on the waterfront Embarcadero. Overlooking the pristine Bay and its dynamic neighborhood, many rooms have views over the water. The hotel is in the Financial District, is close to all major city attractions, is located across the street from the renovated historic Ferry Building, and is surrounded by fine restaurants and excellent shopping. 2. The Hilton: We have reserved a large block of rooms at this beautiful and newly-renovated property and expect many ACR conferees to stay at this hotel, steps away from Chinatown. Harbor Court Hotel: One of San Francisco’s premier waterfront boutique hotels, this property combines the energy of the Financial District with the style of South of Market, right on the edge of the San Francisco Bay on the waterfront Embarcadero.
