Thursday Evening in Tunica (http://www.tunicamiss.com/). After the opening reception, take a free bus ride to and from Tunica, a town known for its casinos and restaurants, courtesy of the Grand Casino (http://www.GrandTunica.com), and all attendees will receive $10 casino money plus a $3 discount coupon for their buffet dinner. Buses will depart the Peabody Hotel at 7pm, and will get you back to the hotel with staged return times leaving the casino at 10pm, 10:45pm and 11:30pm. Approximate one-way travel time is 25 minutes. Friday Night on Beale Street (http://www.bealestreet.com/). Beale Street is the hub of nightlife in Memphis and allows you to experience Home of the Blues and Birthplace of Rock n’ Roll. We have negotiated a special rate for a VIP pass so you could enjoy listening to music in all the clubs along Beale Street without paying a cover charge. Passes are valid for Friday night only. Purchase your Beale Street pass together with your registration.
Saturday Evening at Graceland. In all word association tests with “Memphis” as stimulus, “Elvis” and “Graceland” come out tops. This year’s ACR special event includes a visit to Graceland (http://www.elvis.com/), a tour of the estates and dinner. If you’re an Elvis fan, you don’t want to miss this one. If you’re not a huge Elvis fan, you still know that that this is one of those must-do tours. And if you have no clue who Elvis is, this is your big chance!
