The 2009 Asia-Pacific conference of the Association for Consumer Research will be held on the campus of the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India, January 2-4, 2009.

Information about the campus, the city of Hyderabad, accommodations, and traveling in India will be available on the conference website. Links to airline consolidators offering discounted fares to India and opportunities for tours within India around the conference will also be provided on the web site later in the year.

COST ESTIMATES

If you need to estimate costs for your Universities, here are some rough estimates:

Accommodations (see separate page on available accommodations), you can estimate approximately $175 per day
Airfare depends on whether you use consolidators (estimate $1700 for round trip) or directly through airline - about $2,000
Conference registration is expected to be $400-$420

We are planning on having information on options for pre- and post-conference travel in India through travel agent Thomas Cook.
